About K&K Studios

A Piece of Calm for Real Life

K&K Studios creates gentle, practical tools for caregivers, neurodivergent individuals, and families navigating complex medical, educational, and emotional systems.

These resources are designed to reduce cognitive load, support communication, and create space for regulation — without pressure, compliance, or unrealistic expectations.

Designed by a Caregiver

K&K Studios was created at a kitchen table covered in medical notes, appointment reminders, and half-finished cups of tea — by a caregiver building the tools she couldn’t find, but desperately needed.

Raising a medically complex, neurodivergent child meant navigating hospitals, schools, therapy systems, and daily overwhelm — often without tools that reflected real life.

So K&K Studios began with one goal:

Create resources that work the way real life actually feels.

What We Create

K&K Studios designs:

  • Advocacy & communication tools
  • Care coordination & medical planning resources
  • PDA-affirming support tools
  • Executive function & overwhelm supports
  • Dyscalculia & visual math resources
  • Reflection and mental health tools

All resources are:

  • Low-demand and pressure-free
  • Neurodiversity-affirming
  • Built for real routines, real symptoms, and real families

Who These Tools Are For

K&K Studios resources are used by:

  • Caregivers & families
  • Neurodivergent teens and adults
  • Occupational, speech, and physical therapists
  • Mental health professionals & counselors
  • Special education teachers & school teams
  • Care coordinators & caseworkers

These tools are designed to support — not replace — therapeutic, educational, or medical care.

Our Values

K&K Studios does not create:

  • Compliance-based tools
  • Behaviorist or demand-driven resources
  • “Fix the child” systems

We believe in:

  • Emotional safety
  • Autonomy and consent
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Neurodiversity-affirming practices
  • Trusting lived experience
