PDA Learner Snapshot | Student Profile for School Accommodations

Learner Snapshot is a regulation-first student profile designed to help adults better understand what helps a child feel safe, supported, engaged, and able to participate in learning.

Unlike traditional behavior-focused forms, this toolkit centers nervous-system needs, overwhelm patterns, emotional safety, strengths, sensory supports, participation barriers, and collaborative support strategies.

Created for neurodivergent learners, this resource helps caregivers, teachers, therapists, and support teams better understand what participation actually feels like from the child’s perspective — including what helps, what increases overwhelm, and what support approaches feel safest and most effective.
